The Alacorde Piano Trio, consisting of pianist Jacqueline Schiller-Audi, violinist Jee Sun Lee, and cellist Suji Kim, will perform a concert at the Teaneck Public Library on November 18, 2018, at 2:00pm as part of the library’s Music on Sunday Afternoon series sponsored by the Friends of the Teaneck Library. The program includes works by Claude Debussy, Felix Mendelssohn, and tangos and rhumbas by Consuelo Velazquez, Carlos Gardel, and Astor Piazolla.
The Alacorde Piano Trio has performed extensively throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Alacorde Piano Trio’s extensive repertoire embraces works from all periods of the genre’s history. Their performances have been called “magical with a level of virtuosity and musicality that is truly impressive.”
The public is welcome to attend this free program to be held in the library auditorium. Members of the Friends of the Library can be seated at 1:30, others at 1:45. Refreshments and an opportunity to meet the performers will follow the concert. The library is located at 840 Teaneck Road at the corner ofCedar Lane in Teaneck.
