Tuesday Baby & Toddler Time
Baby & Toddler Time is for babies and toddlers up to age 3. We read stories and rhymes, sing songs, do fingerplays and movement activities, and have a great time. Chlidren may register for either the Tuesday OR Thursday session. Registration with a Teaneck library card is required. Please bring a blanket to sit on and dress appropriately for the weather. Parents, children and teens are invited to drop-in for help with requesting items, book recommendations, program registration, digital collections, and online library resources. The speaker will be Dr. Leonard Jeffries, Black Studies Professor. Dr. Jeffries worked toward his master's and doctorate degrees at Columbia University's School of International Affairs while at Operation Crossroads Africa, a private organization that developed community projects in Africa; he spent time in Guinea, Mali, Senegal, and the Ivory Coast.
