Join us for a delightful afternoon with local author, Melissa Morell! Discover the delightful world of Puerto Rican pasteles through her captivating picture book. Melissa will share her inspiration and read her heartwarming story. We’ll explore the sights, smells, flavors and textures of the ingredients that go into making these traditional treats. Following the reading, get creative with a hands-on craft inspired by the book. We will also be tasting/eating sorullos. You can check the ingredients here. This is a wonderful opportunity for children of all ages to explore a cultural family tradition and meet the talented author behind the story.
