Adult Summer Reading Challenge
June 23 – July 31
Read, watch or attend to earn tickets to enter our prize giveaways. Each book or DVD you borrow or library program you attend earns you one ticket, so the more you do, the greater your chances of winning!
New this summer – write a mini book, movie or program review and earn five tickets!
Stop by the Adult Services Desk on or after June 23 to sign up.

*Registration is required. Teaneck residents only.

Book a 30-minute one-on-one tech help appointment with a librarian. Staff can provide basic, instructional support for using personal devices and digital resources. Explore the life and work of this American-born painter, who was considered to be the leading portraitist of the American colonial era as well as a prominent history painter in England.
7/10 Betsy Ross: Revolutionary War Patriot and Flag Maker to the New Republic
Hear the dramatic story, beyond her flag-making skills, and learn about an important Philadelphia patriot. This one-woman performance is presented by Heritage Theatre Guild’s Famous American Women Programs.

8/14 Pioneers of Progress – Women Who Made a Difference
Explore the stories of trailblazers such as Victoria Woodhull Martin, Harriet Tubman, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Alice Paul, Betty Friedan, and even the spirited Flappers, whose courage and determination paved the way for greater rights and opportunities for women in America.

One-on-One ESL Tutoring
Do you want help learning English? The Teaneck Library can match you with a volunteer English tutor! To apply, please visit the Adult Services Desk at the Teaneck Library and fill out an application form. There may be a wait of a few weeks before we can match you with a tutor. We will do our best to help you as soon as possible. This service is for Teaneck residents only.
ESL Classes at Westwood Library
Teaneck Library partners with Literacy Volunteers of Pascack Valley to offer English / ESL classes, both virtual and in person, at the Westwood Library. For the full schedule in the Spring, please visit teanecklibrary.org/esl-learning
