The Teaneck Library can match you with a volunteer English tutor!
To apply, please visit the Adult Services Desk at the Teaneck Library and fill out an application form.
There may be a wait of a few weeks before we can match you with a tutor. We will do our best to help you as soon as possible.

- Mango Languages – Over 70 languages to explore and learn including Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin, Turkish, and even Pirate! There are also lots of resources for learning English. Available for Teaneck Library cardholders.
CITIZENSHIP:

ONLINE LEARNER’S DICTIONARIES:
- Oxford English Learner’s Dictionary – Oxford’s advanced-level dictionary for learners of English.
- Cambridge Learner’s Dictionary – The Cambridge Learner’s Dictionary has the words, phrases, and collocations that intermediate learners of British English need to know.
YOUTUBE VIDEOS:
- BBC Learning English – Learn English with the BBC. They publish new videos, podcasts, tutorials and lessons every week to help you learn and improve your English speaking, listening, vocabulary and pronunciation.
ESL LIBRARY MATERIALS:
- ESL Materials in the BCCLS Catalog – Place requests for items in the library catalog. You must have a BCCLS Library Card to request and check out library books and materials.
