Registration for September programs begins Monday, August 17 at 10am.
Registration for Fall programs begins Monday, September 14 at 10am.
Registered programs may be limited to Teaneck residents.

Please note: Our elevator is currently out of service. Programs scheduled in the Auditorium or Teen Area take place on the library’s lower level and are accessible only by stairs at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Crafternoon – Teen Area – Lower Level
Tuesdays, biweekly: 9/8, 9/22, 10/6, 10/20, 11/3, 11/17 from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM.
For students 8th through 12th grade.
No registration required.
Stop by the Teen Area on Tuesdays to create a drop-in craft! Supplies will be provided and no registration required.

Dungeons & Dragons – Teen Area – Lower Level
Thursdays, September 10, October 8, and November 12 from 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM.
For students entering 5th through 8th grade.
Registration is required.
Step into the fantastical world of Dungeons & Dragons at Teaneck Public Library! Join Ms. Lydia for an immersive adventure with a team of various players. Both beginners and experienced players welcomed!

Lofi & chill – Teen Area – Lower Level
Mondays, September 14 through November 30, from 3:00 PM – 4:45 PM
For students 7th through 12th grade.
No registration required.
Hang out in the downstairs Teen Area after school to chill out to our lo-fi music! Board games, puzzles, card games, and fidgets are available upon request! No registration required.

Manga and Anime Club – Auditorium
Thursdays, monthly 9/17, 10/15, 11/19 from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
For students 7th through 12th grade.
No registration required.
Love reading manga? Maybe even watching anime? Join our Manga & Anime Club just for teens! Every month we’ll watch anime episodes on a big screen, yap about our favorite series, and trade manga recommendations. No registration required and snacks will be provided.

Paint Night – Auditorium
Wednesdays, monthly 9/30, 10/28, 11/18 from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM.
For students 5th through 12th grade.
Registration is required.
Join Ms. Lydia for a whimsical paint night at the Teaneck Public Library! Registration required and please arrive on time. Materials provided, teens can display their paintings at the library, and take them home afterwards.

Artist Visit: Casper Manning – Auditorium
Wednesday, October 7 from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM.
For students 8th through 12th grade.
Registration is required.
Interested in becoming an artist or working within the professional art world? Come to the library and meet our guest artist, Casper Manning! After earning a BFA in Cartooning from the School of Visual Arts, he worked for First Second Books as a designer and now works as a cartoonist and freelance illustrator. He’ll also teach us how to create zines towards the end of this program. Registration required and materials provided.

Build-A-Beast Craft – Teen Area – Lower Level
Wednesday, October 21 from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM.
For students 5th through 12th grade.
Registration is required.
Something rises from the dead…and they’re so fluffy? Join us at the library to Frankenstein your own little monster friend! Registration required and materials provided.

Ghost Terrarium Craft – Teen Area – Lower Level
Tuesday, October 27 from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM.
For students 5th through 12th grade.
Registration is required.
OoOooOo! Help a tiny ghost out by building a new terrarium home for them before the end of the spooky season! Registration required and materials provided.

Pumpkin MUA Challenge – Teen Area – Lower Level
Wednesday, November 4th from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM.
For students 5th through 12th grade.
Registration is required.
On your mark! Get set! Blend! Got what it takes to be the ultimate MUA for our gourd-eous clientele? Get matched with a pumpkin who needs a makeover! Registration required and materials provided.

Linocut Bookmarks Craft – Teen Area – Lower Level
Tuesday, November 10th from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM.
For students 7th through 12th grade.
Registration is required.
Wanna learn how to carve your own stamp design and create a bookmark to take home? Come to the library to try linocutting with other teens! Registration required and materials provided.
